Step into a high-impact leadership role with room to grow NSK is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and own the day-to-day operations that keep our business running. This is a newly created role born from growth — our Controller is taking on expanded responsibilities, and we need a strong, hands-on leader to manage the team and the work. This is a working manager position. You'll mentor and develop staff while staying close to the numbers yourself. What you'll do You'll oversee the full scope of accounting operations, including: Financial close & reporting — Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements; analyze results and explain variances. General ledger — Own journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses. AR, credit & collections — Oversee receivables, set credit policies, manage aging and customer credit exposure. AP & cash management — Ensure timely vendor payments; manage cash flow forecasting and working capital. Inventory & purchasing — Partner with Operations and Purchasing on inventory valuation, costing, cycle counts, and cost-saving opportunities. Tax & compliance — Coordinate sales/use, property, and other tax filings; serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors. Internal controls & process improvement — Develop policies and procedures, strengthen controls, and support ERP enhancements. Team leadership — Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and growth. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ( CPA preferred ) 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience 3-5+ years in an accounting leadership or supervisory role Strong background in general ledger, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls Experience with AR, credit, collections, and AP Experience supporting audits and tax compliance ERP/accounting systems implementation or optimization experience preferred Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for mentoring Why you'll want to join Real ownership — Lead a team and a function with visible impact on the business.
