Experienced Automotive Finance Manager For Busy New Car Dealership near Lansing, Il. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Finance Manager to join our new dealership team. This role involves managing the financing process for vehicle sales, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership finance, loan processing, and credit analysis, with a strong emphasis on customer service and sales. The Automotive Finance Manager will play a key role in driving dealership revenue while providing exceptional financial solutions to our clients. Responsibilities Facilitate the financing process for vehicle buyers, including loan approval, credit analysis, and contract preparation Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and present suitable financing options Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance, and title services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability Process loan applications efficiently using financial software and ensure compliance with Automotive regulations Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to secure favorable financing deals while adhering to dealership policies Manage title processing, contract documentation, and loan officer responsibilities to ensure accuracy and timeliness Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Stay updated on industry trends, credit laws, and dealership policies to ensure compliance and best practices Skills Proven experience in automotive dealership finance or related financial services roles Strong knowledge of loan processing, credit analysis, Dealership regulations, and contract management Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on upselling and negotiation Proficiency in financial software systems and 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry Basic math skills for credit calculations, math assessments, and deal structuring Experience in automobile sales or dealership environment is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly Ability to analyze credit reports and determine appropriate financing options Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining compliance standards This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a dynamic automotive sales environment while helping customers secure their ideal vehicle financing solutions.
