Compensation:
$100,000- 115,000 We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established organization. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys managing close processes, strengthening controls, developing teams, and driving process improvements. What You'll Do Lead monthly and year-end close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements. Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff. Review complex reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies. Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and financial reporting. Support Foundation accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities. Assist with information required for the annual 990-T preparation. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancements. Partner cross-functionally on financial analysis, projects, and operational initiatives. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls. Experience managing month-end close and audits. Strong Excel and ERP experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and strong communication skills. Nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
