As we continue to expand our presence, we are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing team . Role Summary The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of a manufacturing organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. This role manages the monthly close process, inventory accounting, cost accounting activities, and provides other financial support while partnering with operations leaders to support business performance and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate must be able to manage accounting processes and external audits while remaining comfortable performing detailed accounting activities such as preparing and posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations Essential Duties & Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts. Analyze financial results and explain variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods. Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Operational Support Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance financial controls. Support capital expenditure analysis and fixed asset management. Compliance & Internal Controls Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and inventory management. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations. Develop and document accounting procedures and process improvements. Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems and financial reporting tools. All other duties as assigned based on current business needs
