Accounting Manager

Our client is a successful, family-owned organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor looking to step into management. With approximately 130 employees, the company has a strong culture of promoting from within and investing in employee growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team members Manage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting Prepare year-end schedules and support the external audit process Serve as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial matters Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies Assist with hiring and developing accounting staff

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations Distribution or manufacturing experience preferred Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Process improvement mindset with strong communication skills Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required #LI-AH1 #INSEP2026
