Job Description

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leads financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis for assigned business segments, delivering actionable insights through financial modeling, performance analysis, and close collaboration with business leaders to drive data-informed decisions and operational results. This role owns end-to-end planning processes—including long-range planning—and drives the strategic direction and optimization of Oracle EPM Planning. It also leads financial aspects of special projects and strategic initiatives (e.g., transformation, scenario planning, process optimization). Additionally, the Manager advances adoption of AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and automation across FP&A workflows to modernize planning, reporting, and insight generation. The compensation for this role will be commensurate with education and/or experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
Owns the forecast, annual budget, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) process for assigned business segments and functions. Ensures accurate and timely completion of all deliverables; identifies trends in financial performance and provides insight and recommendations to drive business outcomes. Leads the development of financial strategies for assigned business segments and functions. Challenges assumptions, provides insightful financial analysis, and delivers guidance to support decision-making at a strategic level. Drives business segment performance by preparing financial models, scenario analyses, and ROI analyses in partnership with business leaders; uses insights to identify risks and opportunities and develop actionable recommendations. Acts as a financial lead on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and financial goals. Owns Oracle EPM Planning strategy for assigned segments, including model optimization, governance standards, and roadmap alignment with evolving business requirements. Leads adoption of AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) across FP&A workflows to improve forecasting accuracy, automate reporting, and accelerate insight generation. Leads, mentors, and develops FP&A analyst(s), ensuring quality of deliverables, professional growth, and alignment with team objectives.
What You'll Need For Success:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. 5-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles. Demonstrated ability to lead technology and process adoption across a team. Strong technical skills with ERP and financial planning platforms; Oracle EPM Planning (EPBCS/PBCS) experience preferred. Experience driving system optimization and adoption preferred.
