We are seeking a Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Performance Metrics to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial process improvement for our growing organization. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll partner closely with executive leadership to develop financial insights, improve reporting systems, leverage AI and finance technology, and help shape organizational strategy through data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
Lead organizational budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial projections. Develop, monitor, and report key financial and workforce performance metrics (KPIs). Analyze financial trends and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership. Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts. Leverage finance technology, AI tools, and accounting software to improve operational efficiency. Identify accounting process improvements and implement best practices across the organization. Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team. Collaborate with department leaders to provide budget guidance and financial support. Support grant management and financial oversight for organizational initiatives. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Preferred:
Leadership or supervisory experience. Experience in nonprofit accounting, grant accounting, healthcare, or human services. Experience with Intacct Accounting Software. Experience using Power BI, Google Data Studio, or other business intelligence tools. Ability to quickly learn emerging finance technologies and AI applications. Why Join GoodLife Innovations?
