Job Description

Job Overview:
The Accounting Manager works closely with the Technical Accounting and Tax teams to support monthly financial close, financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, account reconciliations, technical accounting research, internal controls, regulatory reporting, insurance administration, and cross-functional collaboration to improve accounting processes and support business goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounting operations (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cost & Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition). Lead month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, business licenses, and company accounting policies. Oversee financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions, profitability, and cost optimization. Manage the accounting team and internal controls, ensuring accurate records, timely vendor payments, and efficient financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an accountant in Manufacturing (Required) Proven experience as an accountant in Packaging & Containers Industry (Preferred) Must know D365 Experience with ERP platforms Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Degree in accounting; preferably CPA designation

From $90,000.00 per year
