Coesia has operating units in 36 countries, a turnover of 2,015 million euros in 2022 and over 8,000 employees. About the Role The Industrial Controller reports directly to the R.A. Jones Senior Finance Manager. This position is responsible for all activities related to margin analysis and reporting, manufacturing variance reporting & reconciliation, and standard costing analysis. In this role you are responsible for: Oversee and control inventory valuation, movements, and reconciliation across all production sites. Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of product line profitability and margins. Lead the cost accounting process, including the setup and periodic review of standard costs. Analyze and explain price variances, material usage differences, and manufacturing efficiency variances. Partner with Quality and Operations to develop Cost of Poor-Quality reporting and tracking process Support revenue recognition using Percentage-of-Completion (POC) methodology, in line with US GAAP. Define, update and analyze direct labor hourly rates and overhead percentages for accurate product costing. Partner with operations, supply chain and engineering to understand cost drivers and suggest improvements. Provide financial insights for pricing decisions, cost reductions and operational performance improvement. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI's to monitor industrial performance and cost trends. Provide financial insights and cost analysis to support the preparation of accurate forecasts and annual budgets. What You Need to Be Successful Experience in manufacturing with familiarity in ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) systems. Experience in SAP is a must. Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent related experience 2-3 years of relevant experience Competence in Financial Software, Development of Standards, Audit, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Tracking Budget Expenses, and Financial Skills Aptitude for Analyzing Information Exceptional organizational, time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills Effective verbal and written communication capabilities Self-driven and motivated to learn new concepts and engage in new projects Previous experience in Manufacturing or Cost accounting is a must.
