Mail Order Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support a rapidly growing mail order pharmacy experiencing a significant volume increase due to a new client partnership. This role is based in Covington, KY, and requires a licensed pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment activities including accurate checking and verification of prescriptions. Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow. Dispense primarily generic medications, with some brand-name and specialty drugs. Adapt quickly to evolving workflows and high-volume demands. Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Current pharmacist license in Kentucky is mandatory. Candidates licensed in Cincinnati, OH should verify KY licensure. Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM This contract role lasts approximately 13 weeks, with an immediate start date, offering a compelling chance to contribute to a digital/mail order pharmacy dispensing medications nationwide.
