Experienced Financial Manager/Controller Needed In Erlanger, KY Who We Are:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Manager / Controller to oversee our accounting operations and provide strategic financial insights. In this role, you will be the owner of our financial integrity—ensuring audit readiness and GAAP compliance—while providing the reporting necessary to drive growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing and thrives in a global environment, managing local American operations within our broader international group.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Control & Reporting:
Lead the full spectrum of accounting activities, including month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
Strategic Planning:
Drive the corporate budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasting to support long-term business goals.
Audit & Compliance:
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Manage statutory accounts, US tax regulations, and ensure all activities remain compliant with US GAAP.
Management Insights:
Deliver impactful management reporting and variance analysis that translates complex data into actionable insights for the executive team.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the internal accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, integrity, and continuous professional growth.
Operational Excellence:
Drive process improvements and support group-level finance initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
Global Coordination:
Oversee group reporting and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and multiple time zones.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in a finance leadership role (Finance Manager, Controller, or similar), specifically within a manufacturing environment .
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of US GAAP , statutory reporting, and US tax compliance.
Systems:
Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and modeling.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Mindset:
A proactive problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail and a "continuous improvement" approach to financial systems.
