This senior-level role is responsible for overseeing financial performance, operational finance, compliance, reporting, and strategic planning across multiple manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader with strong manufacturing finance expertise, proven multi-site leadership experience, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. This role partners closely with executive leadership and plant operations teams to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. This position also requires direct involvement in day-to-day accounting activities and financial oversight to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. All responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures, including Quality and Food Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and General Safety Work Rules. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to executive management in support of company growth and profitability goals Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes across multiple manufacturing facilities Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making Manufacturing & Operational Finance Oversee plant-level financial performance, including cost accounting, variance analysis, labor and productivity metrics, and operational reporting Partner with plant managers and operations leadership to improve margins, reduce costs, and optimize capital efficiency Ensure accurate inventory valuation, standard costing, and production cost analysis Monitor and analyze operational KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate financial policies Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Perform and oversee hands-on accounting functions as needed Cash Flow & Risk Management Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning Evaluate financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies Oversee banking relationships, financing activities, and insurance programs Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams across multiple locations Establish best practices, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required MBA and/or CPA preferred Minimum of 5 years of financial leadership experience within a company generating $500M+ in annual revenue and employing 200+ employees Food or beverage manufacturing industry experience required Proven experience supporting multi-plant manufacturing operations Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational metrics Proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently Preferred Experience & Attributes CFO-level experience within an equal or smaller-sized organization strongly preferred Hands-on leadership style with strong business and operational acumen Ability to convert complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations Experience supporting rapid growth, process improvement, or operational transformation initiatives Strong collaboration and communication skills with executive leadership and operations teams Core Competencies Strategic Financial Planning Manufacturing & Cost Accounting Multi-Site Financial Operations Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls Executive Leadership & Communication Continuous Improvement & Operational Efficiency Benefits Competitive salary and bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Collaborative and leadership-focused work environment #
