Job Summary Become a part of our caring community The Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting leads a team responsible for delivering Medicaid healthcare trend insights and strategic advisory services that support business decision-making. This role combines advanced analytical expertise, leadership, and executive communication to identify drivers of healthcare cost and utilization trends, develop actionable recommendations, and facilitate discussions with senior leaders. You will translate complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to improve management of total cost of care and support organizational performance. You will report to the Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting in this role. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of actuarial and analytical associates responsible for Medicaid trend analytics, insight generation, and strategic advisory support Direct recurring trend review processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analyses, presentations, and actionable recommendations Translate complex healthcare cost, utilization, and emerging experience analyses into clear, compelling narratives tailored for director, AVP, VP, and executive audiences Partner with Finance, Clinical, Network, Operations, and Market Leadership teams to investigate emerging trends, identify cost drivers, and evaluate opportunities to improve total cost of care performance Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, facilitating discussions that support informed business decisions Oversee the development of executive-ready reporting, presentations, and trend review materials that summarize key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions Manage intake, prioritization, and execution of ad hoc analytical requests, balancing stakeholder needs with team capacity and strategic objectives Drive analytical rigor and quality by ensuring findings are supported by sound methodologies, appropriate validation, and clear communication of assumptions and limitations Collaborate with actuarial, financial, clinical, and operational partners to connect analytical findings to business outcomes and organizational priorities Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, critical thinking, and strong business partnership across the team Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree ASA or FSA designation with MAAA Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex healthcare cost and utilization trends Experience working with healthcare claims data and large data sets Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings to leadership audiences through presentations, storytelling, and executive-level communications Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality analytical work in a fast-paced environment Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional business partners Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and organizational performance through data-driven decision-making Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting managed care programs and understanding key drivers of medical cost, utilization, and financial performance Experience leading healthcare cost, utilization, trend, or total cost of care analytics Demonstrated ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations and stor...
