Coastline Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Operations & Growth Manager to help build and scale a unique mortgage platform focused on operational excellence, compliance, growth, and long-term scalability. Position Overview The Mortgage Operations & Growth Manager will work directly with executive leadership to help build, improve, and scale Coastline Mortgage's operational infrastructure. This position will play a key role in developing systems, improving efficiency, strengthening compliance, supporting recruiting initiatives, developing team members, supporting loan officer growth, and preparing the company for substantial future growth. The ideal candidate combines strong mortgage processing knowledge, leadership ability, compliance awareness, operational discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This position will be instrumental in helping Coastline Mortgage scale from its current production levels into a significantly larger platform supporting future growth, additional loan officers, expanded operations, and increased loan volume. Key Responsibilities Operations Leadership Lead and support processors, loan officer assistants, and future operations staff Serve as a key operational resource for Coastline's loan officers by helping create systems, processes, and support structures that allow them to grow and scale their businesses Work closely with loan officers to identify operational challenges, improve communication, and enhance the overall loan origination experience Manage pipeline flow from application through closing Establish accountability, service standards, and operational expectations Monitor workflow efficiency, turn times, pipeline health, and production metrics Assist with staffing, hiring, onboarding, and team development Process Development & Scalability Build and document operational procedures and workflows Develop scalable systems that support future growth Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions Improve communication between loan officers, processing, underwriting, and closing partners Drive continuous process improvement initiatives Compliance & Quality Control Assist with internal audits and quality control initiatives Help ensure compliance with company policies and mortgage regulations Support licensing, documentation, and operational oversight processes Promote a culture of file quality, accountability, and compliance excellence Partner with executive leadership on risk management initiatives Team Development Train, mentor, and develop processors and support staff Create consistency across the loan process Develop best practices and operational standards Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture Strategic Growth Participate in leadership planning and growth initiatives Support recruiting and onboarding efforts Partner with executive leadership to improve the loan officer experience, support retention efforts, and help create an environment where loan officers can thrive and grow Help build the operational framework necessary to support future expansion Contribute ideas that improve both efficiency and borrower experience Qualifications Required 5+ years of mortgage industry experience Significant mortgage processing experience Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA lending Experience managing pipelines and multiple active transactions simultaneously Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to solve problems and improve processes independently Desire to help build and grow an organization Preferred Senior Processor experience Processing Manager experience Mortgage Operations experience Mortgage broker experience strongly preferred Compliance, audit, or quality control experience Licensing or regulatory oversight exposure Experience building or improving operational departments Experience with Arrive Mortgage Software or similar LOS platforms Compensation & Benefits $75,000 - $85,000 base salary Leadership Growth Bonus Program Six-figure total compensation opportunity Premium health insurance benefits Retirement plan with company match Paid time off Professional development opportunities Direct access to executive leadership Future executive growth opportunities Opportunity to help build a unique and rapidly growing mortgage platform Why This Opportunity Is Different Most mortgage operations roles focus on maintaining existing systems.
