Role:

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for Renegade's overall financial operations and wellness. This role encompasses a wide range of accounting and financial management duties, including billing, payroll oversight, tax compliance, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. The Finance Administrator will work closely with the Account Team, Chief Relations Officer (CRO), and CEO to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Revenue Management Manage the client billing life cycle: Client setup in Workamajig Invoice creation and distribution Review and reconciliation of open jobs Lead monthly meetings with Account Leads to review billings vs. contracts Weekly follow-ups on open Accounts Receivable Accurate and timely cash receipt application and deposits Accounting/Financial Reporting & Analysis Lead monthly financial close: Work in Progress (WIP) and Deferred Revenue review and accruals Commission review, accrual, and payouts Bi-weekly payroll and monthly accrual journal entries Review and audit of financials to ensure correct General Ledger coding Weekly and monthly financial reporting, analysis, and review Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss) for accuracy Create and maintain loan amortization schedules Compile information for CPA to prepare corporate tax returns Tax Compliance File monthly sales tax reports and personal property tax returns File quarterly payroll tax returns and make federal/state tax deposits Maintain compliance with federal and state employee laws Payroll & Benefits Oversight Review payroll reports for accuracy Support administration of FSA accounts, health insurance, and 401(k) plans Understand and monitor payroll processes, even if outsourced General Accounting Make journal entries and reconcile all general ledger accounts Handle depreciation schedules and prepaid expenses Apply accrual accounting principles Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Operational Support Support financial duties including petty cash, deposits, expense reconciliation, commissions, and annual budgets Recommend and implement billing best practices Provide training and resources to team members Represent financial activities in meetings with the President/CEO and CRO, including presenting KPIs such as cash forecast, AGI forecast, and outstanding

AR Expectations:

Develop and maintain cyclical processes for accurate and timely reporting Serve as a liaison for account leads to resolve billing issues Escalate financial concerns to the CRO Provide strategic recommendations for improving financial accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-7 years of experience in financial management or accounting Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial statement analysis Experience with payroll systems, tax filings, and benefits administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel Experience with Workamajig is a plus Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Benefits Accrued Paid Time Off starting from day one 8 paid holidays Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Disability Insurance 401K with 1.5% matching Convenient access to I-83, free parking, and Light Rail access right across the street
