Job Description
A thriving automotive dealership in Clinton Township , MI, is seeking an experienced Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I) to join our team. The F&I Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping customers choose products that protect their vehicle purchase. In addition, this individual works with lenders to obtain financing approval and accurately and on time completes all vehicle purchases and associated paperwork. The F&I Manager is responsible for following up on and collecting receivables. Responsibilities You will partner with sales management to move deals effectively through the purchase process. Ensure financing for customers by building professional relationships with lenders and collaborating with them to get the best financing available for our customers. Submit deals to the bank electronically using the appropriate dealer system. Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state-specific DMV, and lender requirements. Track deal receivables and follow up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding. Help customers choose protection packages for their vehicle by presenting all products and their benefits. Follow up with customers as a courtesy reminder for purchased products requiring customer action. Prepare all federal and state-required paperwork for financial transactions and work closely with the corporate finance team. Maintain accurate monthly performance reporting.
