October Overview :

Our client in the construction space is seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager . This individual will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions and ensure the general ledger and month-end close remain accurate and on schedule. Responsibilities Own the month-end close process, including journal entries and account and bank reconciliations Prepare financial statements and related reporting Support budgeting and forecasting activities Oversee AP, AR, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion Monitor collection efforts on aged accounts and assist when needed Oversee consolidations and intercompany transactions Maintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple operating divisions Identify and assist with process improvements when applicable Partner with company leadership and other departments to resolve accounting-related issues Qualifications 6+ years of related accounting experience Bachelors degree in accounting or finance Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with Sage software is helpful but not required

Compensation :

$45 - $50/hr. (based on experience and overall fit)
