Aaso performs these duties for the

Maple Tree Monastery Childcare Center (MTCC) and Benedictine Retreat Center (BC).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Collaborates with the Treasurer in the management of the Finance Office. 2. Serves as a resource to the Leadership Team. 3. Works with the Treasurer to establish and implement financial policies and procedures as needed to meet internal controls. 4. Coordinates with the Treasurer on cash management. 5. Maintains appropriate records and accounts relative to the entity's revenues and expenses. 6. Reconciles all cash and investment statements monthly. 7. Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly. 8. Tracks and reconciles all Fixed Asset additions and disposals. 9. Generates and presents financial reports. 10.Responsible for the annual budgeting process for both capital and operating needs. 11.Responsible for the planning and coordination of the annual financial audit. 12. Oversees the administration of the CenterCard credit card system. 13. Oversees the Sage 50 software maintenance requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED 1.
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting. 2. 5 years of experience in Accounting, with progressively increased responsibilities. 3. Attentive to details and accuracy. 4. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality. 5. Ability to communicate and explain financial information in non-technical terms. 6. Ability to establish and rearrange priorities. 7. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel a must. 8. Experience with Sage 50 (previously Peachtree), Microsoft Word and Microsoft preferred. 9. Ability to approach people in a manner which creates and fosters harmony and cooperation. 11. Available for occasional weekend and evening meetings and events. 12. Appreciates and supports the Mission of the Sisters of St. Benedict in all areas of communication and public relations, whether written, spoken, or observed.
Pay:
$36.00 - $38.40 per hour
