Description The Finance Business Partner - Commercial supports commercial operations through financial analysis, forecasting, business insights, and decision support. This role partners with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to improve revenue growth, profitability, forecast accuracy, and overall commercial performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable using AI-enabled tools, Power
BI, FP&A
planning software, and strong storytelling skills to translate data into clear business recommendations. Responsibilities Analyze sales, backlog, line of business margins, customer profitability, and commercial performance trends. Monitor performance against budget, forecast, Growth Products, Line of Business goals, and strategic objectives. Develop insights, variance explanations, and recommendations to support business performance improvement. Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and key business driver assumptions. Partner with Sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast. Work closely with Sales Directors, Account Managers, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to support commercial decisions. Support quotations, pricing decisions, margin analysis, growth initiatives, strategic initiatives, and business cases. Participate in SIOP and business review processes. Use Power BI, planning software, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business insight generation. Prepare concise executive summaries, presentations, monthly management reporting, and business narratives that clearly connect analysis to recommended actions. Qualifications Four-year degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field 4+ years in finance, business analysis, economics, accounting or commercial finance function Experience using Power BI, planning software, AI-enabled tools, or other analytics platforms to improve reporting and decision support. Experience analyzing commercial performance, including sales, backlog, margins, customer profitability, budgets, and forecasts. Experience partnering with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership. Experience preparing management reporting, executive summaries, presentations, and action-oriented business narratives.
