Position Overview:

The FP&A Intern supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. This role helps prepare financial reports, analyze business performance, maintain datasets, and support strategic planning activities.

This internship is located in DigiKey's corporate headquarters in Thief River Falls, MN and will require regular onsite attendance. Local housing is provided for interns.

Responsibilities:

Manage special projects assigned assisting FP&A in current processes opportunities.

Assisting FP&A team in preparing for annual planning and budgeting.

Conduct variance analysis with actuals against forecasted projections and provide key insights.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

A rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Be willing to take the initiative, working independently and collaboratively

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Interest in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics. Tools/Systems/Software Full Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is determined based on a candidate's relevant experience and their most recently completed year of undergraduate education and/or the graduate program (Masters/PhD) they are pursuing. For undergraduate applicants, the base pay range is $21.00 to $23.00.

For graduate applicants, the base pay rate is $26.00 for applicants pursuing a Masters degree and $29.00 for those pursuing a PhD. ______________________________________________________________________ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
