The Senior Portfolio Manager serves as the thought leader for Edward Jones' discretionary portfolio management function within Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). This role has overall accountability for investment philosophy execution, including asset allocation implementation, portfolio construction, and stock selection across discretionary portfolios. The role partners with internal departments and governance committees to support disciplined investment decision-making and effectively communicate portfolio performance, positioning, and market context to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Accountable for delivering strong investment performance and managing risk across client portfolios within discretionary SMA strategies. Own and apply the firm's investment philosophy through asset allocation, portfolio construction, and security selection decisions. Communicate investment philosophy, portfolio positioning, and performance results to governance committees, internal partners, Financial Advisors, clients, and media as appropriate. Support internal departments and committees by contributing insights that enhance decision-making and ensure adherence to established investment processes. Materially engage in high-priority departmental and firm-wide initiatives while ensuring alignment with the firm's investment philosophy and risk standards. Knowledge Requirements Extensive knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and portfolio risk management. Extensive knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles. Extensive knowledge of equities and managed investments, including mutual funds, ETFs, and separate accounts. Ability to think strategically and apply sound judgment in complex investment environments. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a client-focused mindset. Ability to identify investment risks and opportunities and proactively position portfolios. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to represent Edward Jones with internal and external stakeholders.

11-14 years of relevant investment management experience;Preferred Experience:
15+ years Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation - required within 1 year Series 7 - required within 6 months 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred.
