Customer Operations in Finance Manager (Americas) 📍 Asheville, NC | On‑site Role Overview I'm currently partnering with a global, purpose‑driven manufacturing organization that's investing heavily in sustainability, digital transformation, and people development. They're looking to bring in a Customer Operations in Finance Manager to lead collections and customer finance operations across the Americas. This is a visible leadership role with real ownership - ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and driving measurable results in a complex, international environment. Responsibilities In this role, you'll take end‑to‑end ownership of Customer Operations in Finance, with a strong focus on collections performance, delinquency mitigation, and strategic stakeholder collaboration .
Key responsibilities include:
Owning the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of Customer Operations in Finance activities Leading, coaching, and developing a culturally diverse finance team Driving DSO improvement and aged debt reduction through strong leadership and escalation management Ensuring consistent application of collection strategies and account segmentation Partnering closely with Sales and Finance to proactively resolve disputes and credit issues Delivering accurate monthly reporting and monitoring key performance indicators Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve processes in line with global Customer‑to‑Cash standards Conducting regular ledger reviews and escalating risks to senior leadership when required This role offers the chance to directly influence operating models, ways of working, and future‑state finance capabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 6+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting, or global Collections / Credit environments Strong understanding of Order‑to‑Cash / Customer‑to‑Cash processes (credit risk, billing, collections, disputes, cash application, order management) Proven people leadership experience with a passion for developing teams Confident communicator who can work cross‑functionally and influence at multiple levels Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus, but not essential) Solution‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable leading through change
