Job Description

Project Accounting & Finance Manager - Gastonia, NC The Lane Construction Corporation United States, North Carolina, Charlotte Jun 12, 2026 Lane Construction is one of America's leading construction companies, specializing in large, complex civil infrastructure. For 135 years, it has contributed to the development of the country's transportation systems including the Interstate Highway System and a vast network of roads, bridges, airports, metros, and railways. Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges. Description Supports the Project Manager in strategic business decisions at a Project level. Manages the Administrative, Financial and Control functions of the business unit(s) including accounts, HR, General Services, IT, and Cost Control. Ensures accounting is done in accordance with IAS/ US GAAP and company standards. Prepares budgets for and with Operations Managers. Reviews and analyzes project revenue and cost, as well as providing monthly reporting to cost controllers and project managers. Assists operations management in updating cash flow forecasts and monitoring budget to actual cash flow at the project/area level. Ensures the systems and processes adopted by the business unit to be in line with Companyas procedure. Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and assessing performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent 5-10 years of related experience (depending on complexity of the Business Unit) Must have supervisory experience Insurance/Payroll and budgeting experience preferred Must have ERP experience Knowledge of US GAAP or
IAS/IFRS
accounting principles and financial management CPA preferred Construction or long term contract experience preferred Proficient interpersonal and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication Competencies Accounts Payable - Process Payments Allocation of Costs/Burdens Claims Cognos/TM1 Law 262 (internal controls code in Italy) Financial Reporting Working for Inclusion Influencing and Communicating JDE Treasury Management Business Acumen Budgeting Cost Control Problem Solving Coaching Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
