Director of Revenue Cycle
JOB DETAILS
Lexington Regional Health Center, a respected Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a results-driven leader to step into the Director of Revenue Cycle role and help shape the future of its financial operations. The Position The Director of Revenue Cycle serves as a senior healthcare leader responsible for the strategic oversight and operational performance of all revenue cycle functions, including Health Information Management (HIM), Business Office operations, and Revenue Integrity. Reporting as a key partner to the Chief Financial Officer, this role ensures optimal reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the entire revenue continuum. This leader will play a key role in driving alignment across departments, ensuring cross-functional teams work together seamlessly. Additional responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment between the coding, billing and rev integrity teams. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Revenue Cycle leader with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. This leader must foster a strong people-centered culture, actively listen to team needs, provide support and mentorship, and build strong relationships throughout the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or related field is required; Master's degree preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience and a strong understanding of hospital reimbursement methodologies is required. Experience within a critical access hospital and/or rural healthcare setting is strongly preferred. The Organization Lexington Regional Health Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Lexington and the surrounding rural communities, providing comprehensive healthcare services close to home since 1976.
