Since its founding in 1977, the company has expanded its fleet to over 150 trucks, serving the NYC and NJ metro area with reliable transportation solutions. Job description Moretran Lease Services is a Commercial Truck Rental & Leasing company that is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day operations of the company. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with numbers, customer service-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable Process customer invoices, vendor invoices, payments, and receipts Post transactions and reconciling accounts Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due accounts Monitor customer insurance coverage Process and maintain weekly payroll Maintain employee payroll records and assist with payroll-related reporting Reconcile bank and credit card statements Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare financial reports and accounting summaries as needed Maintain organized financial records and documentation Work with management, vendors, customers, and employees regarding accounting questions Assist with general administrative and accounting duties as needed Maintain confidentiality of company and employee financial information DMV work, applying for titles, lien releases, registration On-board new employees Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll CDK experience a plus! Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not mandatory Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software Experience with accounting/bookkeeping software preferred Dealership, automotive, trucking, or transportation industry experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Notary a plus but not mandatory

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
