Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Director to lead the financial administrative functions of our facility. This candidate will be overseeing Accounts Receivable and managing a remote team of about 10-20 billers. You will ensure a seamless revenue cycle by using PCC.
Key Responsibilities Admissions & Insurance Verification:
Support the admissions department by conducting thorough insurance verifications and securing necessary authorizations.
Census Management:
Maintain and monitor daily facility census records to ensure accuracy for billing and reporting purposes.
Financial Reporting:
Work closely with and report directly to the Controller regarding financial status and reimbursement updates
Medicaid Redeterminations:
Handling the annual renewals (not just the initial application).

Qualifications & Requirements Strong leadership skills 3+ years of experience in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing setting Strong knowledge of billing procedures, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and managed care guidelines Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Experience with electronic medical records and financial software systems (e.g., PCC, MatrixCare, etc.) preferred
