Job SummaryThe Accounting Manager will lead accounting and financial operations for a large multi-specialty physician group and serve as a key partner to leadership, physicians, and office managers on finance-related matters. This role will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting support, internal controls, and staff leadership, while helping drive financial performance across multiple locations.

ResponsibilitiesLead the month-end close process and ensure timely completionReview journal entries, account activity, and financial reportingDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and short- and long-term financial planningMonitor financial performance and help improve results across multiple practice locationsPartner with physicians and office managers on financial reporting and operational performanceAssist with audit preparation, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate vendor invoice reimbursement and physician payments with accounts payableOversee payroll-related activities in partnership with the corporate teamSupport contract review discussions with the insurance contracting teamProvide financial guidance and education to organizational leadersIdentify and support process improvement and automation opportunitiesLead and mentor accounting and finance staffComplete special projects for senior leadership as neededCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive market salary Strong benefits package403(b) with company matchGenerous paid time offExcellent leadership team and collaborative environmentLong-term growth opportunity tied to organizational expansion and integrationWhy JoinThis is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven healthcare organization at a pivotal time.
