Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all pre-foreclosure processes, ensuring timelines and investor/insurer requirements are met. Coordinate with attorneys, investors, and internal departments to mitigate foreclosure risk and maximize resolution outcomes. Monitor loan files and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes. Analyze accounts for loss mitigation options and recommend appropriate next steps. Identify process improvements and provide leadership in enhancing workflow efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Monitor and track pre-foreclosure timelines to ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. Communicate effectively with borrowers, legal counsel, and third-party vendors to manage foreclosure prevention strategies. Resolve complex escalations and ensure the accuracy of system data and loan statuses. Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide reporting and updates to management regarding portfolio performance and risk areas.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience processing pre-foreclosure transactions in the mortgage servicing industry. Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, and USDA loan guidelines and loss mitigation procedures. Proficiency in mortgage servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. In-depth knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, FDCPA, CFPB).
