Manage assigned operational functions within the department. Responsible for managing the preparation, review, approval, and posting of daily gaming audit journals. Preparing and distributing the morning estimate, Daily Operating Report (DOR), and other analyses as assigned. Monitor quality standards within the department and delegation of work. Preparing tax related documents for submission to the IRS and Gaming Control Board (GCB). Review department operations and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Responsible for detailed data analysis of system generated information. Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads. A project oriented mindset, in order to complete assigned projects efficiently and on time. Gaming audit experience (Slots, Tables Games, Race & Sports Book, Main Cage) with a thorough understanding of the audit process for each audit. Challenge the integrity of audit details and the end product, to ensure compliance, accuracy and effectiveness. Responsible for month end closing to include posting of month end journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Responsible for ensuring all month end account information and backup is scanned into Blackline, for access by external auditors. Oversee the training and coaching of all Revenue Audit Clerks, to ensure that the department goals for training are met. Provide feedback on the job performance of Revenue Audit Clerks to department management. Manage compliance checklists for the department, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Ability to interpret Gaming Control Board (GCB) regulations and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) to ensure the adequacy of audit processes. Assist department management, property operations and external auditors with the completion of all requests. Maintain current knowledge of federal, state and gaming laws pertaining to compliance and gaming procedures. Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and employee satisfaction. Perform all compliance and regulatory audits and projects as assigned by department management. Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department and division. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Gaming Audit Detail oriented with a high degree of integrity Computer literate, with the ability to complete spreadsheets and import/export data from various gaming applications and programs An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office required Strong leadership and organizational skills, with attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with time constraints and adhere to assigned deadlines Must have, or be able to obtain, a Gaming Registration Professional appearance, communication and demeanor a must
