Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description This role supports revenue cycle operations by managing escalated payer issues through Kaleida Health leadership, revenue cycle departments, contracting, finance, and different payers. The Revenue Cycle Payer Coordinator provides direct ownership and accountability to source, obtain, process, audit, and analyze the payer data and support the revenue cycle operations and reimbursement analysts with payer issues as they arise. Provides root cause issue analysis, trending of payer concerns, and delivers feedback to the Kaleida Health leadership team and the payer. The Revenue Cycle Payer Coordinator collaborates with contracting and finance to insure that Kaleida Health is paid timely and accurately for the services rendered. Works under general supervision following established protocols and procedures. The Revenue Cycle Payer Coordinator maintains confidentiality of all information. This position reports to the Director of the Revenue Cycle. Education And Credentials BS - Bachelor of Science in Business or Healthcare Administration or a related field required. Experience 3 years of experience in a revenue cycle operational role in a complex multi-entity organization or large complex required. 5 years of experience in a revenue cycle operational role in a complex multi-entity organization or large complex preferred.
