Our dedication drives our success as Westchester's premier provider of inpatient and ambulatory behavioral health services. We are currently seeking Revenue Cycle Supervisor in our Patient Accounts Department.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services, this role is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytical reporting solutions for revenue cycle accounts receivable in a Behavioral Health setting. This includes building data models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and drive process and cash collection optimization. The position also supports revenue cycle operations by ensuring data integrity across systems, facilitating timely insurance processing, improving billing accuracy, and enhancing revenue capture through data-driven insights and workflow efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate adjudication of claims, payment posting, and reconciliation for outpatient payers Manage accounts receivable to reduce ageing and improve cash flow Coordinate billing data flow, resolving issues across departments to ensure efficiency Lead or participate in revenue cycle improvement initiatives and special projects Provide trends, metrics, analytical tools to support revenue cycle management team Assist with cash posting reconciliation and provide coverage support as needed Research and resolve insurance payment discrepancies, including offsets and negative balances Communicate with insurance carriers regarding missing or incorrect payment information Ensure accuracy of claim coding, demographics, and insurance information in collaboration with system representatives Support credentialing processes including ETIN, Medicare, and Medicaid enrollments Promote a culture of service excellence and effective communication across teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 2+ years of experience in hospital or behavioral health patient accounting setting Knowledge of revenue cycle operations, billing, and insurance regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and healthcare systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
