Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager to lead our vehicle financing and insurance operations. In this vital role, you will drive customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance on automotive financing options, insurance products, and compliance with industry regulations. Your energetic approach will ensure a seamless transaction process, enhance dealership profitability, and foster long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Manage the entire F&I process, including presenting finance options, upselling insurance products, and structuring deals to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Build strong relationships with customers through effective communication, understanding their needs, and offering tailored financial solutions. Oversee loan processing activities, ensuring all transactions comply with federal and state regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and automotive industry standards. Collaborate with finance companies and lenders to secure favorable loan terms for clients while maintaining compliance with credit analysis procedures. Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess customer eligibility, verify financial information, and determine appropriate financing options. Ensure all paperwork, including contracts, titles, and registration documents, are accurately completed and processed in accordance with legal requirements. Stay current on industry regulations related to automotive sales finance, including dealership policies and financial regulatory compliance standards. Utilize financial software systems such as CDK or similar platforms to streamline transaction structuring, loan processing, and documentation management. Lead negotiation efforts to close deals effectively while adhering to dealership policies and compliance standards. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to sales staff on F&I best practices, product knowledge, and regulatory updates. Requirements Proven experience in automotive sales industry regulations, dealership operations, or financial services related to vehicle financing. Strong background in loan officer responsibilities including credit analysis, transaction structuring, and contract management. Familiarity with automotive financing software such as CDK or equivalent systems for deal processing. Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and upselling techniques. Deep understanding of automotive F&I products including insurance policies, extended warranties, GAP coverage, and other ancillary offerings. Knowledge of legal compliance requirements such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), title processing procedures, and financial regulatory standards. Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining compliance standards. Basic math skills including 10 key typing proficiency for accurate documentation processing. Ability to interpret industry-specific regulations related to automobile sales and financial transactions confidently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling contracts, credit documentation, and regulatory paperwork.
