As a key member of the leadership team, you will harness your expertise in accounting, financial analysis, and risk management to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Lead the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting to maintain precise financial records. Develop and refine financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts aligned with organizational goals. Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting to optimize fiscal health. Supervise the finance team's activities related to financial operations, reporting processes, and compliance management within industry regulations. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development initiatives, revenue management strategies (including ASC 606 standards), and cost control measures. Utilize data analytics tools and Excel data analysis techniques to enhance financial insights and decision-making processes. Ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards for nonprofit or public sector entities when applicable. Lead efforts in financial report writing and interpretation for internal stakeholders and external auditors. Support regulatory compliance through meticulous regulatory reporting and internal controls. Experience Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles within diverse industries with a strong understanding of industry-specific financial regulations. Extensive background in accounting systems implementation, general ledger reconciliation, bookkeepingsystems proficiency, and technical accounting practices such as accrual accounting. Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profit & loss oversight. Familiarity with
IFRS, GAAP
standards (including ASC 606), risk management principles, governmental accounting practices if applicable, and industry knowledge of financial regulations. Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams; capable of fostering collaboration across departments while driving strategic initiatives. Proficiency in using financial software solutions along with data analytics tools for comprehensive financial operations management. Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed financial reports and presenting complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
