$143K - $157K Job Summary Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Finance, the Finance Manager is responsible for providing high-level analytical support across all facets of the hospital's financial operations. This role is a cornerstone of the financial analysis function covering multiple areas around cash flow forecasting, account analysis, payroll decision support, and long-range financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required 2.

5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis; experience within a hospital or large healthcare system is preferred. 3.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Applications. Familiarity with healthcare-specific software (EPIC) and financial metrics.

Demonstrates support of the mission and strategic action plan through the initiation and ongoing implementation/evaluation of department activities/plans.
C. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates the technical/professional knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the successful operations of the department including, where applicable, age specific competency.
• Treasury & Cash Management Maintain daily cash positions, monitor liquidity, and contribute to the development of cash flow forecasts for internal and external reporting. Monitoring Accounts Payable process for the hospital to prioritize vendor payment, ensure accuracy of payments and invoices/payments processed timely processing critical treasury payments. Manage banking and lending relationships for the organization, including line of credit to meet covenant requirements. Implement treasury related services, drive automation, and monitor existing programs - ACH & corporate cards. Support departments on supply chain spending to identify cost-containment opportunities and assist with various audits and other financial matters. Financial Analysis Provide financial analysis for capital expenditure requests and associated financial plans to understand and report on the ROI for new equipment and facility projects, including lease vs. purchase decisions. Work with Accounting and Financial Reporting to analyze general ledger accounts, calculate accruals, and provide necessary information to support the accuracy and commentary for financial statements. Analyze monthly intercompany expenses, revenue reports, interest expense, and other analysis provided through Montefiore Health System. Support Payroll department on projects and analysis to leverage capabilities of new Workday system. Budget, Capital, & Other Participate in the annual operating budget process supporting the Budget Manager as needed. Assist with analysis of the hospital's long-range financial plan and other Hudson Valley deliverables. Monitor the capital spend and evaluate projected capital needs of the hospital for capital allocation. Oversee financial audits and reviews for retirement programs, pensions, benefits plans, lenders.
