Automotive Sales Finance Manager Ray Laks Honda Orchard Park, New York Comp:
$90,000 - $150,000 per year; This is a performance-based position that offers a base/draw/hourly offset with opportunities for commission and bonus incentives. Position Summary Ray Laks Honda is seeking a highly accomplished Automotive Sales Finance Manager to lead within its variable operations. This role is designed for a results-driven professional who thrives in a customer-focused environment and brings deep expertise in both sales leadership and finance & insurance. The Sales Finance Manager is integral to delivering a structured, customer-centric experience, where clients are guided seamlessly through the sales and finance process by experienced professionals at every stage. Rather than a traditional handoff model, our approach empowers leadership to remain engaged throughout the customer lifecycle—ensuring consistency, trust, and a high-quality experience. True ownership of the client experience — operate in a model where leadership stays close to the deal, not removed from it Earning potential aligned with your performance — strong front and back-end income opportunity Operational stability and strong infrastructure — step into a well-run store where processes support performance, not hinder it A customer-focused business model — work in an environment where the client experience is a priority Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership Oversee the full client journey from initial engagement through delivery, ensuring a seamless experience Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed performance objectives Promote a consultative sales approach, ensuring each client receives personalized attention and expert guidance Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including volume, gross, and conversion, driving consistent results aligned with dealership goals Act as a senior point of contact for clients, resolving inquiries or escalations with professionalism and urgency Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance Finance & Insurance (F&I) Excellence Deliver a transparent finance experience, presenting tailored financing, leasing, and protection solutions Structure complex deals and secure financing through lender relationships Maximize backend performance while maintaining strong customer satisfaction Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements Uphold adherence to all federal, state, and dealership compliance regulations Other duties as assigned.
