Summary:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the branch manager in the daily operations of a retail Credit Union branch office that develops and grows member relationships, promotes products and services, and delivers efficient operations. Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma requiredMinimum of three years branch banking experience required as an individual contributorMicrosoft Word and Excel skills requiredCommissioned notary or can successfully obtain a notary commission in the state where you work within six months of starting in the role requiredSpanish language skills preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Performs routine branch opening, closing, member service, and other operational tasks and activitiesAssumes responsibility for the supervision of the branch office during the manager's absenceCoach staff to cross-sell and track achievement against sales goals, and provide training on sales techniquesHelps branch manager in achieving financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals for the branchResolves member or operational issuesCoordinates with other Credit Union teams to promote products and represents the Credit Union during community eventsSupports portfolio growth by helping to identify opportunities to deepen relationships and increase member acquisitionEnsures members receive optimal service and monitor/adheres to operational controlsUtilizes various systems to access financial, and production reports to assess branch performance and to make business decisions to promote profitability as well as the achievement of goals. Ensures compliance with Teachers policies and proceduresPerform all duties inherent in the role of a supervisorPerform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor Benefits of Joining the

Eligible for quarterly incentive cash opportunity. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
