M-F, 8am-5pm Join a highly respected, growing biotech organization in a visible accounting leadership contract role that offers meaningful project exposure and standout résumé value. This is an urgent, business-critical opening ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys driving process improvement, systems enhancement, and operational excellence. In this role, you ll provide hands-on accounting leadership while partnering across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Facilities, and Finance to support accurate financial reporting, strengthen controls, and optimize accounting processes during significant organizational change. What you'll be doing: Lead preparation and review of monthly close activities across the general ledger Support inventory, cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and production accounting activities Manage fixed asset accounting, lease accounting (ASC 842), and collaboration accounting processes Analyze inventory movements, production variances, and manufacturing financial impacts Partner cross-functionally to investigate issues, improve controls, and drive operational efficiencies Support ERP implementation efforts, system stabilization, testing, and process automation initiatives Develop policies, procedures, and SOX-compliant internal controls Deliver executive-ready financial reporting, reconciliations, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis What we're looking for: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong background in inventory and cost accounting Manufacturing accounting experience required; biotech/pharma experience strongly preferred Experience working within ERP environments; Oracle/OPM exposure highly desirable Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence cross-functional teams, and drive results in evolving environments Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
