Job Description

About Nexus Sports Ventures Nexus Sports Ventures is one of the leading youth enrichment organizations serving Long Island and Eastern Queens. Through Soccer Stars, Amazing Athletes, and Karate Zoo, we provide sports and movement-based programs that help thousands of children build confidence, develop new skills, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity. We deliver programs through schools, preschools, childcare centers, PTAs, parks and recreation departments, camps, soccer clubs, community organizations, and public locations throughout the region. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly driven Manager of Revenue Growth & Partnerships to lead the company's revenue-growth strategy and execution. About the Role The Manager of Revenue Growth & Partnerships will be one of two senior functional leaders reporting directly to the President & CEO. While our operations leadership team is responsible for coaching quality, customer service, administration, staffing, and program delivery, this position will be responsible for growing revenue across the organization. You will oversee business development, strategic partnerships, public-program enrollment, customer retention, re-enrollment, email marketing, social-media acquisition, and other initiatives that bring new and returning customers into our programs. You will initially manage our Partnerships Coordinator and may also oversee an additional marketing team member focused on lifecycle email marketing, re-enrollment, and social-media growth. This is a player-coach leadership role. You will set the growth strategy, manage and develop your team, establish clear priorities, and hold people accountable for execution. You will also personally lead the company's most important partnership opportunities and revenue initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly action-oriented, commercially minded, and able to identify the few priorities that will have the greatest effect on revenue. This person must be comfortable moving quickly, making decisions, delegating effectively, and driving initiatives through completion without becoming consumed by lower-value operational work. Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Leadership Own the company's annual and seasonal revenue-growth strategy across Soccer Stars, Amazing Athletes, and Karate Zoo. Develop clear revenue plans for partnerships, public programs, camps, seasonal enrollment, customer retention, and new growth opportunities. Compare current performance with prior seasons and prior-year results to identify gaps and opportunities. Identify the highest-impact initiatives that can materially increase revenue and focus the team on executing them. Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and provide regular performance updates to the President & CEO. Lead recurring revenue and growth meetings with clear priorities, owners, deadlines, and next steps. Recommend adjustments to pricing, promotions, program offerings, schedules, and marketing investment based on performance. Business Development & Partnerships Lead the development of new partnerships with schools, preschools, childcare centers, PTAs, parks and recreation departments, camps, soccer clubs, and community organizations. Manage and develop the Partnerships Coordinator, including setting targets, reviewing pipeline activity, improving outreach, and holding the position accountable for results. Personally lead the company's highest-value and most strategic opportunities. Oversee the full partnership-development process from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution. Build strong relationships with decision-makers throughout Long Island and Eastern Queens. Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships into additional locations, seasons, age groups, program types, or Nexus Sports Ventures brands. Ensure that new agreements are transitioned effectively to the operations team for successful implementation. Public-Program and Camp Growth Own strategies to increase enrollment and fill rates across public classes, camps, leagues, clinics, and seasonal programs. Analyze performance by location, program, schedule, age group, and season to identify underperforming and high-growth opportunities. Work with the operations team to improve schedules, locations, program formats, and capacity based on customer demand. Develop targeted plans to improve enrollment at underperforming locations. Identify new geographic areas, facilities, and program concepts that can generate meaningful revenue growth. Evaluate promotions and offers based on their effect on enrollment, revenue, and profitability. Marketing, Retention & Re-Enrollment Oversee marketing initiatives designed to acquire new customers and bring previous families back into the business. Manage or supervise the development of seasonal email campaigns, re-enrollment campaigns, referral initiatives, and customer-retention strategies. Oversee the company's social-media presence and ensure that content supports customer acquisition, brand awareness, and enrollment goals. Establish clear objectives and performance expectations for internal marketing team members, agencies, and outside partners. Evaluate marketing performance using enrollment, conversion, engagement, acquisition cost, and revenue results. Ensure that marketing activities are connected to measurable business outcomes rather than activity alone. Use the company's existing parent and customer database to improve re-enrollment and customer lifetime value. Team Leadership & Execution Manage, coach, and develop direct reports responsible for partnerships and revenue-generating marketing initiatives. Translate company revenue goals into clear quarterly priorities, weekly actions, and individual accountability. Ensure that each team member understands the most important priorities and how their work contributes to revenue growth. Regularly review progress, address missed deadlines, remove barriers, and redirect resources toward higher-impact work. Create a culture of urgency, ownership, follow-through, and measurable execution. Delegate effectively while remaining personally involved in the opportunities that can have the greatest effect on the business. Build scalable sales, marketing, CRM, reporting, and revenue-management processes as the organization grows. Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with the operations and coaching leadership team to ensure that growth plans can be delivered consistently and profitably. Coordinate on program capacity, staffing requirements, customer feedback, scheduling, and launch readiness. Balance revenue opportunities with operational feasibility, coaching quality, and the customer experience. Serve as a senior thought partner to the President & CEO on company strategy, growth opportunities, and resource allocation. How Success Will Be Measured The primary measure of success in this role is revenue growth. Performance will be evaluated based on year-over-year company revenue growth and current-season performance compared with the corresponding prior-year season.
