$100,000-$120,000 NOW CFO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager Consultant to join our Columbus, OH team. The Accounting Manager Consultant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business decision-making. This role partners with leadership to improve processes, maintain compliance, and enhance financial performance across organizations. We are seeking Accounting Managers with experience across multiple industries (preferably manufacturing, construction, non-profit, and healthcare). We value candidates with a strong background in accounting operations and leadership. The ideal candidate should excel in managing accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and supervising accounting staff. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strong attention to detail, and the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Identify and implement process improvements Support audits and coordinate with external auditors Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff

Requirements:

NetSuite (Preferred) QuickBooks Online (Preferred) Strong Excel skills Adaptable / Flexible Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
