•Baumann Chevrolet Norwalk is seeking an Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the financing and insurance processes for vehicle sales, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer relationship skills, dealership experience, and a comprehensive understanding of financial services within the automotive industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead our finance department and deliver outstanding service to our valued customers. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Facilitate the financing process by working closely with customers to secure appropriate loan or lease options. Present and explain various insurance products, extended warranties, and service plans to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Review and process credit applications accurately while adhering to regulations. Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility for financing options. Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and dealership policies. Collaborate with sales staff to optimize deal profitability through effective financing strategies. Manage title processing efficiently to ensure timely vehicle registration and ownership transfer.Skills:
Proven experience in automotive finance management or as a loan officer within a dealership environment. Exceptional customer service abilities coupled with effective communication skills. In-depth knowledge of financial services, including credit analysis, loan processing, and contracts. Familiarity with dealership operations such as automobile sales, upselling techniques, and negotiation strategies. Proficiency in financial software systems used for loan origination and title processing. Excellent math skills, including basic math calculations and 10-key typing accuracy. Experience in deal structuring, credit evaluation, and contract negotiation. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.Our benefits include:
