POSITION DESCRIPTION I. TITLE OF POSITION
Accounting Manager
II. NATURE OF POSITION
The Accounting Manager works in cooperation with the CEO and CFO to promote the mission of the health center by assisting with quality relationships between the organization and its vendors, patients, payers, auditors, and staff. Oversees the general accounting area of the company.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other Business-related area preferred. Minimum of 3 years accounting experience required. Management experience preferred. High proficiency in data entry, excel, word processing, ten-key calculator and typing required. Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and strong attention to detail required.

IV. RESPONSIBILITIES
Hiring, training, and managing accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks. Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency. Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time. Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations as needed. Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards. Reviews and assists other departments to prepare annual budgets. Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Has the ability to work remotely at the discretion of the supervisor and in alignment with GSP Health policies.
