Job Description

Help Build the Business Behind the Brand High Five Media is a growing marketing agency serving businesses throughout Oklahoma and the Midwest. Since 2014, we've built our reputation on exceptional client service, creative excellence, and long-term partnerships. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Accounting & HR Manager who can provide the financial leadership, organizational discipline, and people support that help great companies thrive. This is a highly visible role that collaborates directly with our partners and department leaders. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing financial statements, managing payroll, improving internal processes, supporting employees, and ensuring the day-to-day business operations run smoothly. What You'll Do:
Accounting & Financial Management Manage all day-to-day accounting operations Process bi-weekly payroll and commission reporting Oversee accounts payable and vendor payments Manage client billing and recurring invoicing Review accounts receivable and support collection efforts Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and financial records Complete month-end and year-end closing procedures Maintain accurate financial reporting and accounting records Prepare monthly financial summaries and management reports Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities Coordinate 401(k) administration and oversight Manage business insurance renewals and administration Prepare financial documentation for outside tax professionals Human Resources & Team Support Maintain and update personnel records Assist managers with hiring and recruiting processes Support employee onboarding and orientation Support annual performance review and merit increase programs Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and concerns Help strengthen and maintain High Five's positive culture Coordinate employee recognition programs and company events Management & Administration Supervise and support the Office Administrator Ensure accurate contract setup and billing procedures Improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiency Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects What Success Looks Like In this role, you'll help
High Five:
Manage the daily accounting functions Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls Support a healthy, positive workplace culture Create operational efficiencies that allow the business to scale Provide leadership with meaningful financial insights and recommendations Qualifications Required High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of accounting experience Advanced experience with QuickBooks Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience managing payroll and employee-related financial processes Human Resources experience Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication abilities Preferred Experience in a service-based business environment Previous supervisory or management experience Experience with budgeting and cash flow forecasting Experience identifying and implementing process improvements Experience with CRM and project management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Wrike) To Thrive in this Role Our best team members are: Accountable and dependable Detail-oriented and organized Positive and solution-focused Comfortable working independently Committed to continuous improvement Motivated by helping both clients and teammates succeed Why High Five?
