Job Description
About the Role Compu-Link Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager - Property Charges to lead a critical function within our HUD reverse mortgage servicing operation. This is not a "people-only" management role . We are looking for a hands-on operator who understands escrow, property charges, and default servicing at a deep level—and can actively drive performance, compliance, and process improvement. You will own the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of all property charge activities, while also serving as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including HUD and third-party vendors . This role requires confidence operating in a highly regulated environment with direct federal oversight . What You'll Own Full operational oversight of Property Charges (taxes, insurance, HOA, escrow, loss drafts) Direct accountability for vendor performance and compliance Ongoing communication and issue resolution with HUD and federal oversight entities Pipeline health, SLA performance, and risk mitigation Process improvement, audit readiness, and quality control Acting as a subject matter expert for complex escrow and servicing issues Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team responsible for: Timely payment and reconciliation of taxes, insurance, and HOA dues Escrow analysis and funding sufficiency Loss draft claim processing and follow-up Resolution of complex borrower and property-related issues Ensure compliance with: HUD servicing requirements Investor guidelines Federal regulatory and legal standards Manage third-party vendor relationships , including: Performance monitoring and accountability Issue resolution and escalation management Alignment with contractual, regulatory, and operational expectations Serve as an operational liaison to HUD , including: Responding to inquiries and escalations Supporting audits and compliance reviews Communicating operational performance and remediation efforts Identify operational gaps and design/implement process improvements Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure data integrity across systems Manage pipeline volume, aging, and escalations to meet performance targets Drive a culture of accountability, precision, and ownership What We're Looking ForRequired Experience 5+ years in mortgage servicing operations (property charges, escrow, or default) 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and operational performance Strong working knowledge of HUD guidelines, investor rules, and regulatory requirements Experience managing high-volume pipelines with strict compliance deadlines Experience working with or responding to HUD or federal regulatory bodies Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors or servicing partners Preferred Reverse mortgage / HECM servicing experience Direct experience handling HUD audits, escalations, or compliance reviews Background in audit, quality control, or regulatory response environments Bachelor's Degree or higher. Core Skills Deep expertise in escrow, taxes, insurance, and loss drafts Ability to solve complex servicing issues , not just escalate them Strong analytical and risk-management mindset Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and compliance Clear and confident communicator with internal leadership and external stakeholders Highly organized with strong prioritization skills Work Environment 100% onsite in a secured, federally regulated facility in Tulsa, OK Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and credit screening Schedule between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Mon-Fri) based on business needs Why Compu-Link Compu-Link is a specialized HUD reverse mortgage servicer operating in a complex, highly regulated environment where precision matters.
