Initially, this leader will have four Senior Accountants reporting to him/her and there will be an opportunity to grow this team as the right leader acclimates to our organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and maintain internal controls Lead, coach and training Accounting staff Participate in the close of the general ledger each period Oversee monthly and quarterly financial statement analysis and reporting Ensure monthly account reconciliations and significant quarterly reserve analyses are prepared and reviewed Maintain financial information and documentation Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in accounting and CPA Experience working at/for a publicly traded company 6+ years of accounting experience + experience leading accounting staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and strong technical research ability Ability to influence partners and serve as a change agent Our benefits meet you where you are.
