The Accounting and Finance Manager plays a critical leadership role helping the company continue to grow. This role will provide leadership, support, and clarity for the administrative team. You will help create clearer priorities, stronger processes, better communication, and more consistent follow-through. You will also help build a stronger department that is more organized, more supported, and better positioned to support both current needs and future growth. What You'll Do A typical day may include supporting accounting and administrative staff, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity, answering accounting questions, helping resolve accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, or reporting issues, and collaborating with department leaders throughout the company. You'll also spend time improving workflows, reducing manual processes, strengthening internal controls, and helping build systems that allow the department to operate more efficiently. While some days are project-focused, others will revolve around important deadlines, particularly during month-end and year-end close. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly and annual financial close process Supervise and support administrative and accounting team members Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity for accuracy Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Assist with accounting questions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and general accounting Improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls Partner with leadership to provide meaningful financial information that supports sound business decisions Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding company, financial, payroll, employee, customer, and ownership information Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments What We're Looking ForQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field Strong accounting knowledge and experience Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills CPA preferred Skills That Will Help You Succeed Strong leadership and coaching abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize competing deadlines Process improvement mindset Organizational and time management skills Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement Why Rexius?
