Operations Finance Manager:
Financial Performance & Cost Governance Lead financial decision support for logistics, warehousing, freight, and fulfillment operations. Own analysis and control of distribution center costs, freight spend, tariffs, and manufacturing cost variances. Ensure timely, accurate accounting and reporting for all logistics-related cost centers. Proactively identify cost risks, trends, and operational inefficiencies to prevent financial surprises. Protect contribution margin and EBITDA integrity through disciplined cost governance. Forecasting, Budgeting & Working Capital Management Deliver reliable monthly outlooks and quarterly forecasts for COGS, freight, and distribution expenses. Support annual budgeting and long-range planning aligned with the S&OP process. Lead Net Working Capital forecasting related to inventory, logistics, and fulfillment operations. Drive strong forecast accuracy, transparency, and accountability across operational stakeholders. Transformation & Cost Savings Initiatives Serve as finance partner for logistics transformation efforts, including Pro-track, tariff mitigation, and freight optimization projects. Validate project assumptions, timelines, savings realization, and financial outcomes. Develop standardized financial models and estimation tools to evaluate initiatives and track results. Partner with operations teams to align execution with financial commitments. Operational Finance Excellence & Systems Ownership Prepare and manage cost allocations across imports, internal manufacturing, and third-party sourcing. Lead and validate standard cost rolls for manufacturing and distribution environments. Act as Operations Finance SAP Super User, supporting system enhancements, data integrity, and inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with audit requirements related to assets, inventory, and fulfillment costs. Support close and consolidation processes with a strong focus on accuracy and controls. Qualifications & Experience of the
Operations Finance Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 6-10 years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments. Strong cost accounting background with hands-on experience on the manufacturing floor. Deep expertise in distribution center costing, freight analysis, tariffs, and cost variances. Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and month-end close. Advanced ERP experience, with strong proficiency in SAP. Demonstrated success leading or supporting cost-savings and operational improvement initiatives. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills focused on logistics and supply chain operations. Working capital and inventory control mindset. Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to operations and senior leadership.
