Job Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a well-established and growing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee a broad range of accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This is a key leadership position for an accounting professional who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, analyzing financial information, and partnering with leadership to support business decisions.

The Accounting Manager will oversee general accounting, accounts payable, billing, payroll-related accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and other accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

C0MKey ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee daily accounting activities, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, payments, and payroll-related accountingManage, develop, train, and support accounting staff while assigning and directing departmental workOversee the monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportingPrepare and analyze financial information for management review and decision-makingReconcile transaction activity within SAP and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial recordsOversee account reconciliations and assist with the preparation of financial statementsReview invoices, payment activity, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policiesAssist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activitiesPrepare recurring financial reports and analysis for managementPartner with internal and external auditors and provide requested financial informationRespond to accounting-related inquiries from customers, vendors, employees, and internal business partnersIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, controls, and efficiencyProvide financial analysis and support for special projects and business initiativesEnsure accounting activities are completed accurately and within established deadlinesWhy Consider This Opportunity?
