Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including the general ledger and financial reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and funder financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation, Form 990 support, and regulatory compliance activities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop finance staff What We're Looking For in an
Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Nonprofit accounting experience required
- Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes
- Prior leadership experience managing finance/accounting teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements #
