This organization was formed through the acquisition of several regional brands across the East Coast and Midwest, and is now consolidating its accounting operations into a centralized Charlotte hub. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building structure from the ground up, and is energized by change-management work.

What You'll DoServe as a key partner to AP & AR teams across multiple business unitsLead process re‑engineering efforts to streamline workflows and create consistency across all brandsWork cross‑functionally with accounting groups nationwide to improve efficiency and establish best practicesSupport the transition from several small regional teams toward one unified accounting structurePlay a central role in designing future-state processes in a high-growth, PE‑backed environmentCollaborate closely with senior leadership and contribute to broader operational improvementsPrepare to assume formal team leadership as the department centralizes (expected ~4 direct reports in the future)Role StructureReports to: Senior leader within Corporate AccountingFuture growth: No immediate direct reports in year one, but positioned to build and lead a team as consolidation progresses

Schedule:

Hybrid — 3 days onsite in Charlotte once the office opens; 2 days remote
