This is a direct hire or permanent position paying $80K-$90K per year plus benefits including a hybrid work schedule.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

Perform all accounting tasks, including AP/AR, job costing, monthly reconciliations, month/year-end close, and financial reporting. Perform job cost tracking, WIP schedules, and project profitability reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, audits, bonding, and insurance. Maintain accounting systems/processes and revise as needed. Support project managers with cost analysis, billing, and change order tracking. Manage banking relationships, cash flow, vendor payments, and inventory controls. Provide payroll support as needed. Assist in pulling/preparing data for the annual budget and financial planning process. Serve as primary system admin for Sage 50 and collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve accounting system-related issues and questions.

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a construction environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with Sage 50 or similar ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to lead and collaborate across teams.
